Trouble closing card. I received a prepaid card from Netspend in the mail on XX/XX/year>. I am not a member of this bank and did not request this card. I emailed their customer service to make sure no line of credit had been opened in my name, and received three nonsensical replies on the same thread. The first acknowledged I was not a customer, but said that to help me I would need to enter my account number ( how can I do that if I am not a customer? ). When I politely pointed this out, a second agent replied saying he could close the account if I gave him my name and address as it appeared on the envelope.
