Reporting company used your report improperly. I am writing to formally address an unauthorized credit inquiry made by your company, which I discovered while reviewing my personal credit report. The inquiry in question was made without my consent or authorization, and I did not authorize anyone employed by your company to access or view my credit report. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), specifically Section 1681b ( c ), you are prohibited from obtaining a credit report unless the consumer has granted permission through an express, signed authorization.
