Application denied. Citibank has engaged in unfair and deceptive practices by relying on inaccurate information to deny my credit application, violating my rights under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act ( ECOA ) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). This denial appears to be based on a prohibited basis, as it lacked proper notice and transparency. I am formally requesting a copy of the consumer report used to make this decision. Citibank has five ( 5 ) days to provide the requested report and rectify this matter. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will take legal action to protect my rights.
