Debt was result of identity theft. my i recently went throught my deceased mothers paper work. an found out she opened the discover account in my name an used the card that i never saw til now an she always told me i opened it but it was her an she opened this acount an many other credit an loans in my name without me having any knowleage of this! im just now finding all this mess in her deepths of paper work an mail she hid from me. so how does this work now seeing its not my account never was i just thought it was because its what my mother told me though i had no knownlege of the card or what was bought or anything she was a known con artist an did this to many family members as well. an im lost for words an i dont know what to do but she ruined my credit an put me in alot of debt thats
