Credit reporting or other personal consumer reports — EQUIFAX, INC. (GA)

Their investigation did not fix an error on your report. A Bank XXXX XXXX account transaction has appeared on my credit report. The transaction is the result of identity theft. I have no knowledge about the crime. All I know is that the transaction does not relate to me. I have already filed a police report and identity theft report for the crime. I sent a notice dated XX/XX/year> via the mail to inform Equifax about a crime that has taken place and to block and permanently remove the transaction from my credit report. Unfortunately, I have not received a valid response from Equifax. I am seeking redress for my instructions to be honored.
