Every time I try to freeze or unfreeze my account Im stuck dealing with this long drone process of calling or chatting with an agent going through a lengthy verification process just to be able to use my own account. It has been this way going on 3 years now. Im worst part about it is if Im trying to take care of something outside of business hours or workday. I have to wait all the way until the next business day in order to speak to someone to unlock or freeze my information. I feel like this is a violation of my ability as a consumer to protect myself and monitor my own account usage.
