Non-sufficient funds and associated fees. On XX/XX/XXXX, Morgan Stanley E-Trade charged a {$15.00} fee to my Max-Rate Checking Account. On XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke with a customer service representative who explained that the charge was a Service Fee due to insufficient funds. I requested a refund for the fee, but my request was denied. I have held this account for several years without incurring any fees. The representative informed me that the policy had recently changed in XX/XX/XXXX, and mass emails were sent out to notify customers. Unfortunately, I did not receive the emaillikely because it went to my junk folder. I asked for a courtesy refund and even requested to speak with a manager, but my request was not accommodated. Consequently, I decided to close the account. Referring to
