Their investigation did not fix an error on your report. On XX/XX/XXXX I called Capital one in reference to a late payment that was reported inaccurately on my credit report. I spoke with XXXX and was told that there was nothing they could do once the information was sent 3 days after the statment date, i asked why was it reported late when the payment was submitted on time but not drafted until after the due date by Captial One. The agent stated he would not be able to answer the question and would need to escalate the call and someone would reach out to me with in XXXX to XXXX business days.
