Company closed your account. I deposited a check on Friday XXXX at the ATM of Citibank to my checking account.The check was from the US Treasury department in the amount of {$6000.00} for federal school loans that had been discharged. I was told by the bank on the following Monday over the phone that the funds would be available Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX. When I checked my Citibank app on Tuesday my checking account no longer appeared and it showed I only had a credit card open. ( screenshots available ) When I call, after going over and over things, I get transferred to the fraud department. She states my account is placed on a hold and they need to verify information and ask me where the check is from, what is it for and such questions. They state they will submit all this and I cant talk to th
