Card opened without my consent or knowledge. An account was opened in my name apparently and is showing up on my credit report. Someone opened a Home Depot Citi Bank card on XX/XX/XXXX. There is a total of {$1500.00} charged to the card and possibly XXXX payment made of {$29.00} from what I can see on my credit report. I attempted to call CitiBank and could not get through to a human beause their system says that there is no record of a credit card under my SSN. When I spoke to XXXX, they said the account beginning XXXX digits belonged to a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. I also tried to reach out to them via email today, XX/XX/XXXX, the same day that I realized this new account was showing on my credit report.
