Debt is not yours. 15 U.S.C. 1692c, part of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), addresses communication in connection with debt collection, prohibiting debt collectors from communicating with third parties about a debt unless specific exceptions apply, such as the consumer, their attorney, or a credit. I am not responsible for the debt claimed by the collector Oliphant, who persistently calls and harasses me. I am requesting that this debt be removed.
