Prepaid card — AMERICAN EXPRESS COMPANY (IN)

Trouble using the card to spend money in a store or online. I received American Express gift cards totaling to {$450.00} on XX/XX/year>. However when I attempt to use this card, it declines. I attempted multiple times to add the first gift card to my XXXX XXXX as the American Express instructions say to. However, it declined every time and I was unable to add it to XXXX XXXXXXXX. This is unacceptable as I am unable to use the gift card even though this card was already paid for. I also tried to use this online and it also declined.
