Account information incorrect. I filed a dispute with all three credit bureaus ( Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion ) regarding a XXXX day late payment being reported on an auto loan from XXXX XXXX for XX/XX/scrub> 2023. The bureaus responded by verifying the information without addressing clear inconsistencies visible in their own reports. Specifically, the payment history shows that payments were made in both XXXX and XXXX, which contradicts the presence of a XXXX day delinquency. Even though I did not submit additional proof with my dispute, under the FCRA ( Section XXXX ), the credit bureaus are required to conduct a reasonable investigation, not simply confirm what the furnisher reports. Instead, they sent me a XXXX verification letter repeating the same result, without review
