Investigation took more than 30 days. On XX/XX/year>, I sent a written dispute letter to Experian regarding inaccurate information on my credit report. Specifically, I was disputing late payments and a closed account that I believe were reported in error. The letter was delivered and confirmed received by Experian on XX/XX/year>. As of today, XX/XX/year>, I have not received any written response, investigation results, or confirmation from Experian regarding my dispute. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), specifically 15 U.S. Code 1681i ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), credit reporting agencies are required to : conduct a reasonable reinvestigation to determine whether the disputed information is inaccurate, and record the current status of the disputed information, or delete the item
