Credit reporting or other personal consumer reports — EQUIFAX, INC. (TX)

Public record information inaccurate. I am filing this complaint because a XXXX XXXX bankruptcy is being reported on my Equifax credit report, but it was caused by identity theft. At the time, multiple accounts were fraudulently opened in my name and I was not aware of the full extent of the identity theft until after the bankruptcy was filed. I have submitted an FTC Identity Theft Report along with a copy of my photo ID and proof of address. Since this bankruptcy was caused by fraudulent debts, I am requesting a full investigation and removal of this record from my credit file under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
