Formal Complaint to the CFPB XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ( Account ending in XXXX / XXXX ) To Whom It May Concern : I am submitting this formal complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX and the credit reporting agencies Equifax, XXXX, and XXXX for inaccurately and unlawfully reporting derogatory marks on a fully paid and closed credit card account. This false information is harming my credit profile and constitutes a violation of several federal consumer protection laws. Summary of the Issue : This revolving credit account was closed in 2020 with a {$0.00} balance and marked as paid. Despite being closed and fully satisfied, all three credit bureaus are reporting late payments ( 30, 60 days ) in 2020. There is no open balance, no active billing
