Account status incorrect. I have provided evidence that the collection agency failed to validate the debt as required under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) 809 ( a ). Additionally, under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) 611 ( a ), only accurate and verifiable information should be reported. Since the collection agency failed to validate the debt, these accounts must be removed from my credit report immediately. Please see attached letter.
