Debt collection — Alorica Inc. (TX)

Not given enough info to verify debt. West Asset Management contacted me today via phone, a XXXX XXXX proceeded to read to me my personal information and wanted me to verify it without explaining why she was calling, who she was calling about etc. I called them back to ascertain the reason for calling and was sent back to XXXX XXXX XXXX. She started the process again ; I said I will not give you any of my personal information without you telling me why you are calling. She said I can not do that until I have your information, i.e. my personal information. Phishing is an illegal activity, and not one I will be party too.
