Their investigation did not fix an error on your report. Following my dispute of inaccurate information on my credit report, I submitted a formal requestpursuant to 15 U.S.C. 1681i ( a ) ( 7 ) and 1681e ( b ) seeking a clear and comprehensive explanation of the reinvestigation process. Specifically, I asked for details regarding the verification steps taken, the name, address, and telephone number of the data furnisher, and any documentation relied upon to justify the continued reporting of the disputed information.
