Debt collection — CL Holdings LLC (FL)

Attempted to collect wrong amount. I sent Jefferson Capital Systems a written request for full debt validation. In response, they provided a loan agreement from XXXX XXXX, but they failed to prove that they have the legal right to collect this debt. They did not include : A signed Bill of Sale or assignment showing they purchased the debt. An itemized breakdown explaining how they calculated the amount of {$1600.00}. A final account statement from XXXX XXXX. Proof they are licensed to collect debt in Florida. This account is being reported to credit bureaus and damaging my credit, but it has not been legally validated. I am requesting that this account be removed from my credit reports unless full legal validation is provided.
