Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement. A charge in the amount of {$1600.00} was placed on our card XX/XX/XXXX by Barclays. The company indicated was XXXX XXXX XXXX. The phone number on the XXXX statement was a recording at XXXX telling you to check their site for transaction receipts which I did and of course, there wasn't XXXX because we purchased nothing from this company. Initially, the dispute was ignored, and it took several more calls to get Barclays to actually open an investigation. We have opened XXXX disputes since with Barclays. Each one has been denied because they received an invoice from a person - not a company- and I was told because it has my email address on it, they consider it a valid invoice.
