Information belongs to someone else. My credit file appears to be mixed with another individuals information, leading to inaccurate accounts appearing on my report. I have never had accounts with several of the companies listed, and the identifying information on those entries does not match mine. Under FCRA 607 ( b ), consumer reporting agencies are required to maintain reasonable procedures to ensure maximum possible accuracy. The presence of mixed-file data shows a failure to comply with this standard.
