Credit reporting or other personal consumer reports — TRANSUNION INTERMEDIATE HOLDINGS, INC. (CA)

Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize. I am filing this complaint because TransUnion is reporting XXXX hard inquiries that I never authorized or initiated : XXXX dated XX/XX/year> and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/year>. These inquiries were made without my knowledge or consent, which is a clear violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, specifically 15 U.S.C. 1681b. That law states a consumer report may only be accessed with a valid permissible purpose and written authorization from the consumer, neither of which applies here. I have already disputed these inquiries with TransUnion and demanded their removal, but TransUnion failed to delete them or provide any documentation showing that the inquiries were lawful.
