Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize. I am filing this complaint because my credit file continues to display unauthorized hard inquiries that were made without my knowledge or consent. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), Section 1681b ( a ) ( 3 ) ( A ), a permissible purpose is required for any hard inquiry. None of these inquiries were authorized by me, nor were they connected to any legitimate extension of credit. Their continued presence on my report is therefore a direct violation of federal law.
