Debt is not yours. I am writing to formally dispute inaccurate information that appears on my credit report. The entry is listed as a collection account under XXXX XXXX XXXX no account number was provided to me. The account is being reported with an address that does not belong to me and is not associated with my personal identifying information. Representative did not want to provide more information to review/verify. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), 15 U.S.C. 1681i ( a ), I have the right to dispute information that is incomplete or inaccurate, and you are required to investigate my dispute. Because this collection account reflects an address that is not mine, it is inaccurate and misattributed to my credit profile.
