Credit reporting or other personal consumer reports — TRANSUNION INTERMEDIATE HOLDINGS, INC. (SC)

Reporting company used your report improperly. I am filing a complaint against TransUnion and XXXX. My personal information was leaked in their data breaches. This puts me at risk of fraud and identity theft. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( 15 U.S.C. 1681i ( a ) ( 5 ) ( A ) ), if information is disputed and found to be inaccurate or can not be verified, it must be removed. If it is reinserted, the agency must notify the consumer within 5 business days. In addition, 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2 requires that disputed information be blocked or removed within 4 business days when the consumer provides proper notice. These agencies failed to protect my information and continue to mishandle it. I am demanding : Removal of any inaccurate or reinserted information within the legal timeframe.
