Credit card — ACIMA CREDIT, LLC (CA)

Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement. We purchased a bed from XXXX XXXX XXXX, and they offered financing through Acima. We were told it would be a credit plan with some interest but we were never told it was a lease. This was not clearly explained in the store, and no one used the word lease during the sale. After the purchase, Acima set up automatic minimum payments without telling us how much we needed to pay monthly, or what would happen if we didn't pay in full. They never explained that we had to pay the full amount within XXXX or XXXX days to avoid extremely high charges. We were never told : That this was a lease agreement.
