Confusing or misleading advertising or marketing. We applied for a mortgage refinance with Rocket Mortgage. During the process, we were told we needed an appraisal, and we agreed to and paid {$500.00} for it. The appraisal was completed on XX/XX/year>. However, Rocket Mortgage was not upfront about the fact that multiple appraisals would be required. This was not clearly communicated to us at the beginning. Additionally, they were not clear about the type of home we were refinancing whether it was considered a single-family home or a manufactured home. This lack of clarity led to confusion and ultimately impacted the appraisal process and our ability to move forward. We was never asked if it was a manufactured home. In my eyes it is a single- family home as only one family lives there.
