Information belongs to someone else. I recently reviewed my credit report and discovered multiple accounts and inquiries that I did not authorize or recognize. I never gave written instructions or permission for these entities to access or report information on my credit file. This is a direct violation of my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), specifically under 15 U.S. Code 1681 and 1681b. These accounts were added without my knowledge or consent, and I believe they are connected to identity theft. Ive already submitted an FTC Identity Theft Report ( Report # XXXX ), which confirms that Im a victim of identity theft. Despite this, the credit reporting agencies have continued to report these fraudulent items, which is unfair, harmful, and illegal.
