Prior to the closure, onXX/XX/XXXX, 2025, American Express billed and I paid the XX/XX/XXXX annual fee for my XX/XX/XXXXPlatinum Card ending XX/XX/XXXX. After my accounts were closed, I asked American Express to refund a pro-rated portion of the annual fee because the card could no longer be used and the associated benefits were no longer available to me for the remainder of the annual term.
