Debt is not yours. On XX/XX/year> I spoke with a representative of XXXX XXXX XXXX to report the finalization of my divorce. This account was originally a joint account with my ex-spouse. The divorce was finalized this year and it states that the respondent is responsible for this debt. I have provided paperwork and also spoke to the merchant on the phone. I was told that regardless of the divorce, I am also still responsible for this debt.
