I was contacted on Monday, XXXX XXXX with a voicemail from a XXXX XXXX, claiming to be a legal carrier and that I was scheduled to be served Tuesday, XXXX XXXX, either at home or at work. He provided a phone number to contact the creditor directly at XXXX, case file # XXXX. I spoke to a man who was trying to collect a debt from XXXX. I did n't know if this company was legitimate or not because I was in my car and could n't look up the company. The debt is legitimate so I signed up for payments to pay off this debt.
