Threatened or suggested your credit would be damaged. Subject : Unverified Debt and Improper Credit Reporting Caine & Weiner is reporting a collection account [ Acct # XXXX ] without providing proper validation after dispute. They have not proven the amount owed, ownership of the debt, or agreement bearing my signature. This violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Reporting a debt that can not be validated is unlawful. Since Caine & Weiner can not verify this account, I am requesting that the CFPB require deletion of this collection from all consumer reporting agencies and that collection activity cease immediately.
