I am submitting this complaint regarding the servicing of my mortgage on a XXXX XXXX deed-restricted affordable housing unit that is subject to a recorded deed rider requiring affordability preservation and includes a soft second mortgage held by an affordable housing entity. In XX/XX/XXXX, I applied to my mortgage servicer for a loan modification due to financial hardship. On or about XX/XX/XXXX, I received a denial of the loan modification. I submitted an appeal of the denial on XX/XX/XXXX. As of XX/XX/XXXX, the appeal is still pending, and I have not received a final written decision. During communications with the bank, I was informed that my total mortgage arrears are over {$15000.00}
