Used obscene, profane, or other abusive language. I contacted National Credit Systems on XXXX XXXX to request validation of a debt they are reporting on my credit report. During the call, I clearly stated that I was requesting written debt validation and did not wish to discuss payment or answer any questions at that time. The representative became hostile, refused to assist with my validation request, and disconnected the call because I did not want to answer any questions until I am able to view and verify the account. I believe this behavior is unprofessional and interferes with my right under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act to request and receive validation of an alleged debt.
