Trouble with how payments are being handled. Hello, I sent my payment in to Navient which was received on XXXX XXXX, 2017. I sent a letter with the payment, as I do every month, and specified which four loans were to be paid with the payment and stated that under no circumstances was any amount to be applied to any other loans. Instead, Navient applied the payment to five loans which are in default. This is in clear violation of my instructions and is also a blatant attempt to restart the clock on the statute of limitations for the five defaulted loans. This is illegal and fraudulent.
