Trouble with how payments are being handled. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a notice stating that my Income-Based Repayment ( IBR ) plan was approved for {$300.00}. This is over a {$50.00} increase from last year. The year before ( 2016 ), my payments increased by about {$100.00}. I am making a complaint because last year a XXXX representative told me that my IBR was calculated using my gross income instead of my adjusted gross income. When I called today, the representative ( XXXX ) gave me a formula that was used to calculate my IBR payment. I asked him to e-mail the formula to me ( I wanted to do the calculation myself and could n't remember all parts of the formula ) but instead he e-mailed me information about PSLF. I think XXXX is miscalculating IBR payments, and I do n't think they 're
