Trouble with how payments are being handled. After graduating from XXXX in 2005, I accumulated around {$20000.00} in student loans. 13 years later and making payments for years and years on time my balance is now {$15000.00}!!! How can that be? Right after graduating I was struggling to pay the entire monthly payment and they automatically directed me to forbearance. I wonder if thats the reason. Navient website right now is set in such a way that it still directs people to programs that lowers monthly payments. I want to pay more to get rid of this evil loan that never seems to disappear. Since I graduated I paid off 3 cars!!! So why is this loan not going away??
