Old information reappears or never goes away. XXXX agreed to a modification in XX/XX/XXXX but with their agreement they promised to clean all lates as to provide us with a true fresh start. This was the third modification attempted and it finally worked out. We retained a lawyer to help. The initial modification was rejected by their error on XX/XX/XXXX and that would have had us with a four year clean mortgage payment history.
