Account status incorrect. Monterey Collection service is refusing to remove a collection item from my XXXX Credit Report in the amount of {$43000.00} for a debt which was cancelled by XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. The cancellation letter clearly states that XXXX XXXX is relieving me from the debt. Multiple disputes have been filed in the months of XXXX and XXXX of XXXX with XXXX and Monterey Collection service still claims the reported item is accurate. I need this item to be removed from my credit report as the debt was forgiven by XXXX XXXX XXXX who is the original vendor. all objective evidence is attached.
