Their investigation did not fix an error on your report. I am filing a complaint against Equifax and XXXX XXXX because they are reporting a fraudulently opened account on my credit report. I have sent disputes regarding the opening of this fraudulent account with XXXX and Equifax a total of 3 times and it is still reporting on my credit report. I completed all of the necessary steps to get this matter resolved including filing an identity theft report with law enforcement which is attached to this complaint. XXXX and XXXX have already stopped the reporting of this fraudulent account form my credit report but Equifax remains to report it. This issue still remains open and my credit has been severely damaged because of this. This will be my final attempt to get this matter resolve before law
