Their investigation did not fix an error on your report. I have tried to get a loan that shows it has been charged off on my Equifax credit report removed. The loan is in good standing and I was told by the loan agency to dispute it on my credit report and it would be removed. I went through the credit agency and they denied my dispute, but my husband disputed the same loan and it was removed from his credit reports. They will not remove it from mine.
