Attempted to collect wrong amount. I had a student loan account in delinquency. It was obtained by Educational Credit Management Corp ( ECMC ) in XXXX. ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, MN XXXX. ) While I was paying on my student loan prior to this acquisition, I was unable to pay during a period of time when ECMC owned the loan. They've subsequently reported this as 14 separate delinquencies on my credit report. Some of these delinquencies are as small as {$160.00}, and could have easily been paid in full.
