Information belongs to someone else. I received a call from a person attempting to collect a debt. After asking the person a few questions about the debt, I realized that I am a victim of identity theft. That call prompted me to check my credit report where I confirmed that some criminal had used my personal information to fraudulently apply for and obtain credit that I never received any benefit from. The accounts in question included credit cards from XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and even an auto loan with XXXX XXXX. I couldn't believe that someone was literally driving around in a car that was financed using my personal information. I have called all of the banks
