Problem during payment process. This is more of a concern than a complaint against American Express with employees who intentionally misrepresent of payment due dates, past due dates, and possibly back-dating communications sent to card holders to substantiate their action. As of this writing, I do not know if American Express has already filed reports to the three credit bureaus because I was past due by 1 day - which American Express could elongate to 2 or 3 additional days ( since it takes between 24 to 36 hours to post a payment ). Apparently, charges are also frozen until this payment has posted. The last phone conversation was with an American Express employee who explained that I had such a good payment history in the past so that is why I have never experienced this sort of treatme
