Problem with fees. On XX/XX/2020 I called Capital One at XXXX and requested to speak with an account manager. XXXX I.D. # XXXX identified herself. I explained to her, very kindly and politely, that the school that my wife worked for was closed due to the COVID-19 government mandatory Stay at Home order and therefore her income was severed and basically ended. Because of this, her credit card payment was short. Capital One charged her an interest fee of {$35.00}. I kindly requested if they would please waive the interest due to the fact that my wife 's hands were basically tied because of no fault of her own.
