Credit card company won't increase or decrease your credit limit. Capital One has decided to decrease the credit limit on a card that I no longer use regularly as of XX/XX/2020. The credit limit was XXXX and is now down to XXXX. A reduction in available credit of XXXX is detrimental to a consumer 's credit score and can negatively impact a consumer 's ability to purchase or refinance a home or vehicle. According to Capital One they have done this to many consumers, some of whom may be in the middle of a home mortgage transaction where a decrease in credit score could mean the difference between an underwriting approval or decline. Capital One does not have the right to harm consumers in this way. I called Capital One today, XX/XX/2020, to explain this to them and they refuse to reverse thi
