Their investigation did not fix an error on your report. In XXXX I received an alert via XXXX that a new collection account had been added to my file. I have a stellar credit rating and no collections. I immediately contacted the credit agency and spoke to the fraud dept. where there is a police report and affidavit on file. XXXX XXXX XXXX states I owe a debt for an account that was not authorize by me and being that all of my identifying information was stolen I have no idea how they are claiming this is my debt. The address that the account was opened is no account that has ever been associated with me. They have not sent me anything that validates the alleged and FRAUDULENT debt to be mine.
