Delay in processing application. The category doesn't quite match my complaint. I signed up for and was approved for a CapitalOne Platinum card. When I was approved, I was given a message saying that my account had been merged with an account I had ... maybe 6 or more years ago? I honestly don't know. But when I reached out to CapitalOne to get access to the account, I was denied access. I verified all of my information, and they confirmed that the information matched what was on their records, but they wouldn't tell me anything about my account or give me access to view it online. I stated, over and over again, my discomfort with not having any sort of access to the account, despite being able to verify my identity through-and-through. As of now, CapitalOne has not given me any indication
