Problem during payment process. Please see XXXX, reopening. HSBC has not provided explanation on why incorrect 1099-C code was inputted on form. HSBCs response to see previous correspondence from them is insufficient as the code should be A for bankruptcy and they have never provided any explanation on why the incorrect reporting codes were used. This card was cancelled and closed due to a bankruptcy filing.
